As well as delivering professional skills training, designing bespoke team away days and management programs, I was the in-house coach to employees, managers and leaders for over 5 years. It helps us understand, recognise and manage our own emotions as well as the emotions of others.
Ideal as part of a management program, and in addition to other psychometrics, emotional intelligence is the key to understanding our built in attitudes and feelings towards ourselves and others. By improving our self awareness, empathy and social skills we become much more effective leaders.
